Sculpture/installation by the Italian artist and sculptor Luigi Nervo (Turin 1930-Turin 2006).
Nervo began his career as an industrial designer and later started experimenting with different art forms, ultimately discovering his love for wood.
This installation was made for the Margherita Di Savoia scuola in Turin (Italy) in the 1970's and was designed to get the children to listen carefully to important messages the gorilla had to tell.
