This 19th century thresing board, also known as threshing sledge or tribulum, was a primitive agricultural implement - farm tool used to separate cereals from their straw; having thick wooden planks with the frontal part somewhat narrower and curved upward (like a sled or sledge), and the bottom covered with partially inset hand-carved lithic stone flakes.
